June 02, 2017 (Winston-Salem, NC) – At last Sunday’s Winston Salem Cycling Classic, Canadians were at the head of the race in both the Pro Men’s and Women’s events. Widely regarded as one of the hardest one-day races on the US Pro Road Tour, Canadian riders demonstrated the current depth of the cycling scene in this country.
Reigning Canadian National TT champion Ryan Roth (Silber Pro Cycling), who won the Winston Salem Pro Men’s race in 2016, took second place this year with current Canadian National Road champion Bruno Langlois (Garneau Quebecor) finishing third.
In the Pro Women’s race, Lex Albrecht (Team TIBCO- Silicon Valley Bank) finished a strong 6th followed by Kristi Lay (Rally Cycling).
