July 23, 2013 (Hardwood Ski & Bike, ON) – Pedal’s Sandra Walter caught up with the first ever Canadian XC Eliminator Champions right after they won their maple leaf jerseys at Hardwood Ski & Bike on July 18. The XC Eliminator is a young mountain bike discipline that features fast, exciting sprints, wily tactics, and spectacular obstacles as riders races in four-up heats for berths in the final. The event is based on the highly successful cross country skiing sprint event and is an official UCI World Championship discipline.
