June 10, 2014 – Canada’s Pierrick Naud (Garneau-Quebecor) is on fire. Pedal caught up with this rising star on the Canadian road cycling scene after his impressive second-place overall finish at the recent Grand Prix de Saguenay. Naud’s stock has been going up steadily after he won the 2013 Canadian Crit Championship title.

The 23-year-old speedster came out swinging this season, bagging a stage win at the Redlands Cycling Classic and then going on to score a third-place finish in the final stage of the An Post Ras UCI C 2.2 category race in Ireland last month. He was on the podium at every stage at the GP de Saguenay on his way to claiming second overall and is hoping to keep his strong form going at the Tour de Beauce and at the 2014 Road Nationals.
