June 11, 2015 (Saint-Georges, QC) – Before the start of today’s stage Pedal caught up with Jean-Sebastien Perron (Sante Universelle /Marin Bikes), the top Canadian in 8th on yesterday’s 186.2km Stage 1 in Saint-Georges at the 30th annual Tour de Beauce. Perron’s team is a “rookie” established  in January by Sports Director, Frederick Gates, who commented, “Having a rider in the top 10 is the icing on the cake,” said Gates. “It was only our second UCI race and we are thrilled with this eighth place finish. Jean-Sébastien is racing his sixth Tour de Beauce and brings lots of experience to the team. The final was made for him with an uphill sprint.” – results, report, photos here.
