May 14, 2018 (Jerusalem, Israel) – Canada’s Guillaume Boivin (Israel Cycling Academy) was making news headlines daily when the 101st Giro kicked off with the Big Start in Jerusalem on May 4 for a stellar debut to his first Grand Tour. The lauch was a huge success for both the former Canadian road champ and his young new team, the Israel Cycling Academy.

Once the the Tour hit Italy Boivin and his teammates have been “surviving” in the peloton while two other Canucks at the Giro, Svein Tuft (Can) Mitchelton-Scott and Michael Woods (Can) EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale have taken over the headlines. We caught up with Boivin on the second rest day for his take on his debut Giro and plans for the stages that lie ahead.
