August 11, 2018 (Mont-Ste-Anne, Que.) – Pedal caught up with legendary Canadian Olympic bronze medalist and double MTB Worlds champ, Catharine Pendrel (Clif Pro Team), following the women’s Short Track XCC #5 yesterday as it was her first World Cup XCO race since breaking her arm in June. Pendrel, 37, who finished a strong 15th on Friday, broke her left humerus, the long bone between the shoulder and elbow, on training ride with her husband.
