Sugoi
Sugoi has been putting compression designs into their lines for over five years but for Spring 2010 their technically advanced Race and Recovery (R+R) compression line has been fully expanded. The line, literally from head to toe, includes long and short sleeve tops, shorts, tights, and socks. The R & R line is centered on Piston™ fabric technology, which uses polyamide-based materials that boast the lowest weight per square inch available in warp-knit compression fabric. The super-light Piston™ 140 is used for upper-body garments, while the denser Piston™ 200 makes up lower-body garments including calf guards. The R+R line provides performance benefits to athletes over a range of sports including running, triathlon, cycling and more.
Northwave Razer
Northwave has introduced three new shoes, full of new innovations for the 2010 season. The Razer is constructed with an all-new heel cup, and carbon rubber thin profile, which is Northwave’s newly innovated sole. The sole uses a layer of carbon under the cleat attachment area for strength and rigidity, but has a thin, strong, flexible arch for increased comfort while off bike. A new Omega heel cup, which is designed with special air vents reduces swelling. The Razer also features new mesh construction that allows the shoe to expand, and accommodates various foot widths.
Michelin
After a year hiatus on the MTB tire line, Mich is back and better than ever, expending several categories, and redesigning several others. The new lines indluce the WILDRace”R, WILDRace’R advanced, WILDGRrip’R, WILDGRrip’R Advanced, WILDRock’R, and WILDRock”R Advanced.
WILDRace’R tires feature a broad distribution of knobs across the tread to promote efficiency and resistance to punctures. The position of the shoulder knobs helps provide supurb grip for climbing out of ruts or when cornering.
WILDGrip’R tires adapt to a wider variety of terrain, as the optimized knob arrangement across the width of the tread allows for both rolling efficiency and progressive cornering. Square centre knobs are positioned close enough together to roll very fast yet spaced enough to promote mud clearance.
WILDRock’R tires are designed for extreme conditions, with massive knobs to tackle the rough terrain, and a central groove to maintain directional control. The aggressive claw-shaped shoulder knobs help hold the tires line in extreme cornering situations.
The Advanced versions of each tire represent the tubeless version in the line.
