IMBA Ontario Mountain Bike Summit in Kitchener – Sept 25-27

August 8, 2009 – This September, the International Mountain Bicycling Association (Canada) will host the first-ever Ontario Mountain Bike Summit. Mountain bike clubs, leaders, advocates, and decision makers are invited to attend for for three days of networking, trailbuilding, problem solving, education, advocacy, and inspiration.

Register Waterloo Cycling Club and the Guelph Off-Road Bicycling Association.

The IMBA Summit is open to the public. Registration costs $75/person and can be done online. Please RSVP early so that we can be sure to accommodate everyone.

The conference will be held at the Chicopee Ski and Summer Resort , home to the IMBA-designed Chicopee Bike Park, as well as 8km of mountain bike trail. Chicopee has generously donated the use of their facility for the Ontario Mountain Bike Summit.

Saturday September 26
8:00am to 9:00am  Registration and Pick up of Conference Materials
9:00am to 4:00pm  Conference Sessions and Tour of Kitchener’s Chicopee and McLennan Bike Parks
4:30pm to 6:30pm  Group Rides – Cross Country and Bike Park options
8:00pm to 11:00pm  Evening Social and Networking

Sunday September 27
9:00am to 2:30pm  Conference Sessions
2:30pm    Closing Remarks
3:00pm    Group Rides – Cross Country and Bike Park options
