February 4, 2004 – Sea Otter Classic LLC has signed a title sponsorship agreement with Hyundai Motor America for the Hyundai Sea Otter Classic Cycling Festival to be held April 15-18 at Laguna Seca Recreation Area in Monterey, California. Hyundai is actively involved in a number of sport-related sponsorships around the globe. Its partnership with Team Mongoose, an elite international mountain bike racing team formed in 2001, marked the brand's entry into the cycling category.

At the four-day event, participants will have the chance to view the 2004 Hyundai line-up firsthand, meet the professional riders of Team GT and Team Mongoose, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind event, the Hyundai Sea Otter Classic.
