July 23, 2005 – Well for many of you looking for that mid summer local DH fix there is none better than the Heights of Horseshoe race. This former Canada Cup DH course has been tweeked by yours truly to present a new lower section.

As you enter “Eric’s Dilemma” (third wood section with the drop) you still do the drop, double over the rocks, sand berm, then the drop to vally, jump over the log, avoid the tree and just before you would exit the woods there is a new section that starts with a berm to push you back right and over a couple small drops, off camber and compressions , the a quick steep run out to a sprint finish. The benefit of this new section also brings you directly to the lift so no more pushing!
