May 12, 2004 – I would like to thank everyone who has expressed an interest in the High Park Classic. The field for the “open” race is now full. The women's race and the men's I/II race still have spots available.

The directors of the following teams will make some decisions on rider selection since each team is allocated four spots. Some independent riders had also contacted me and they will also be entered into the event.

The team selection was done a very complex but simple first-come first-race format. Same thing for the independent riders. The first teams that confirmed got the spots.
