April 27, 2004 – To all clubs, hopefully you've have a chance to read about the return of the High Park race. As part of Bicycle Week in Toronto the City of Toronto, McBrides Cycle and Jet Fuel Coffee have joined together to bring this race back. Hopefully we'll grow the event in the future and this year we're aiming for a great day of racing. For this year we have a limited amount of time in the park therefore we've had to limit the number of races. Also we're trying out a new course design so we're limiting the number of racers in the first year. I'd prefer to play it safe for the first year because of the course design.

Please let me know how many riders you have for each of the following races.
– “Open” licensed race – Vets/Senior III/Juniors
– Women
– Senior I/II

Once I hear back from all the interested clubs I'll start allocating the number of spots per team. I know they'll be lots of interest in the “open” race so its important I hear back from you regarding this category. I'm aiming to do the race spot allocation early next week.
