February 25, 2004 – Het Volk, the 200K classic begins in Citadelpark, in Gent,  will finish in Lokeren, taking in nine of the famous climbs of the Flemish Ardennes. Canada's Ryder Hesjedal will be riding support for US Postal-Berry Floor, most likely leading the way for teammate George Hincapie or Viatcheslav Ekimov up the tough, steep, cobbled climbs.
