November 24, 2005 – After weeks of speculation and waiting, the Spanish rider Roberto Heras – and the public – will have to wait even longer to see the results of his second blood test. The B sample that was being tested against his A sample – which was positive for EPO, an illegal blood booster – was supposed to be revealed by now, but has instead been delayed until at least tomorrow. The reason was due to an error in the analysis, the Spanish lab that is handling the test reported.
Heras tested positive for the drug in his incredible final TT that solidified his fourth Tour of Spain win in September.
