March 11, 2006 – The opening race of the Eastern Canadian season, the Good Friday Road Race, is moving to a circuit in Flamborough this year. The Hamilton Cycling Club is pleased to bring the race back to the region on April 14, 2006. The prospective race course will be a 5K circuit which starts in the west end of Fallsview, then heads east on Harvest to Sydenham, returning west on Fallsview where hills await eager legs.
Due to a stronger police presence to ensure rider safety, the entry fees have increased by $5 to $35. Rumour has it that M&M will have a snack station for hungry participants and spectators alike at Dymonds Farm.
