March 9, 2011 (Hamilton, ON) – I’ve been teasing for weeks and it’s been a very difficult secret to keep, but I am unbelievably thrilled to announce the Hamilton Cycling Club’s inaugural TRAIL BUILDING DAY!!! On Saturday, April 9th, we will be hosting the IMBA Trail Care Crew at a landmark event in Christie Lake Conservation Area. The agenda is (loosely) as follows:

– Morning: In-class trail building school (on-site) generously supported by our good friends at Domestique-Café Cyclo Sportif
– Lunch: BBQ generously supported by our good friends at Freewheel Cycle
– Afternoon: TRAIL BUILDING
– Evening: Gigantic PARTY!

There will also be some form of prizes provided from our very generous friends at Redline, Race Face and Joyride 150.

There are a LOT more details to follow but I’ve been holding this in for way too long and it’s a giant relief to finally let it all out.
