October 8, 2003 – Day two of the Hamilton 2003 Road Worlds has blessed riders with clear, sunny skies and warm temperatures. A good crowd has shown up to cheer on the junior men and the senior women today in their respective races. Russian junior Mikhail Ignatiev came in with a storming time of 27:01.88 to knock the competition out of the water by more than 20 seconds. The Ukraine's Dymtro Grabovskyy came in second with a time of 27:23.15. Sweden's Vikto Renaeng rounded out the podium in third place.
Canada's Kevin Lacombe placed 50th at 29:27.21 and Christian Meier was 55th at 29:49.26.
