April 12, 2013 (Milton, ON) — The groundbreaking ceremony for the Milton Velodrome, planned for April 11, has been rescheduled due to expected bad weather in the Greater Toronto Area reports Inside Halton. The 154,000 sq foot facility with a 250-meter indoor track is part of infrastructure being built for the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games. Groundbreaking will likely take place later in April or early May for the structure scheduled to be completed in September, 2014.
