August 29, 2003 – Rona-Esker's Genevieve Jeanson celebrated her 22nd birthday with a win today at the prologue of the Green Mountain stage race. Jeanson completed the eight mile course in 31:44.01, 3 minutes ahead of her teammate Johanna Buick. The men's race was won by Saturn's Mark Mccormack in 28:16 ahead of Cameron Hughes (LeMond Fitness) and Tim Johnson (Saturn). The race continues tomorrow and ends monday.
