March 14, 2019 (Ancaster, ON) – The Eastern Canada Gravel Cup is proud to announce that the Saturday April 6th series kickoff, Kin Vineyards Spring Runoff will be a qualifying event for the 26th Paris to Ancaster Bike Race on April 28th. We’re extremely excited and honoured to have the opportunity to work with such a prestigious event.
There’ll be 6 Elite/Wave 1 start positions for the top 3 men and top 3 women who don’t qualify under the published criteria here. You must be currently registered for Paris to Ancaster and this does not get you a free entry. (Please note that if you finish outside of the top 3 at the Spring Runoff it’s possible to qualify if those ahead are already in the Elite or Wave 1 at P2A) Riders that do not qualify for these spots include:1. Riders on UCI teams
2. Current National Team Members
3. Top 150 Men and Top 30 Women from last years P2A The Gravel Cup Spring Run Off will run regardless of weather so be prepared for anything including using your Fat Bike, Mountain Bike or the widest studded tires you can manage on your drop bar bike.
