August 05, 2019 (Lanark, Ont.) – The Eastern Canada Gravel Cup p/b euro-sports “Lanark-Lombardy” finale on Sept 7 has been moved to the Tatlock Community Hall in Tatlock, Ontario & is now the Walsh Wiltshire Lanark-Lombardy –  little closer to Ottawa but still in Ontario’s Highlands.

Wheelers will continue to be a partner but agreed to let me try out this new venue. I’m extremely happy with the new course. The signature piece will be the 12km California Road section. The “Competitive Course” will use the Conc 10C/D (in reverse direction to the local Almonte-Roubaix) & Conc 9B that uses a sweet 1.70km unmaintained section through a tree canopy tunnel. After the event the Walsh Wiltshire Brew Co. will be there again to provide beer sampling.

Registration is also now open for the Sept 8th KIN Vineyards Fall Grally as KIN Vineyards was keen to host another event this year so we’ve organized a double header weekend. The Sept 8th event won’t count for Gravel Cup points but it will be the same format as the other events and use the signature Needhams Side Rd unmaintained climb.

Come out and take advantage of this Gravel Cup double header weekend which includes:

1. Competitive (75km/71km & Sport courses (57/52km)

2. Fully stocked aid station

3. Free download photo gallery from Robert Roaldi here.

4. Fully timed & signed courses

5. Gravel Cup swag and draw prizes
