August 25, 2013 (Banff, AB) – The second annual RBC GranFondo Banff’s 1,500 riders came prepared to tackle 144km through the heart of the Rockies, in Banff National Park this morning. The ride was well represented with riders from ten out of Canada’s thirteen provinces and territories and fourteen American states including some from as far away as Texas, North Carolina and New York.
“Today was an incredible day for cycling,” said Kevin Thomson, CoFounder GranFondo Canada. “We are privileged to hold this fully supported ride in magnificent Banff National Park. It is a truly Canadian experience.”
