August 21, 2003 (Mont Tremblant, Qc) – Please be advised that The Grand Prix Cycliste des Laurentides will take place this weekend, August 23-24, 2003, with a commitment from five registered teams.The event organization is still prepared to accept the registration of additional clubs / teams.

Any interested teams must make a commitment to attend the event by Thursday evening August 21, 2003. The Grand Prix Cycliste des Laurentides is a UCI sanctioned 2.7.2 class event. Participation is by team entry only. The minimum team size is four riders. UCI has agreed to a special derogation to allow the participation of second year Junior riders. The eligible age group will be 18 to 22 years.

The event will consist of three stages as follows: Saturday, August 23 – Ste-Adele – 09h00 start – 70 km Criterium – Ste-Agathe – 18h00 start – 20 km Time Trial

Sunday, August 24 – Mont Tremblant – 10h00 start – 150 km Road Race
