December 21, 2004 – Those who always wanted to move their winter training to sunny Gran Canaria island, now have another good reason to do so: On March 5th Gran Canaria’s first ever mountain bike marathon called Maratón por Medicina will take place on the miniature continent. As the name already indicates, this marathon serves a good cause: all participants are asked to donate medicine for Cuba.
