June 18, 2003 – After another long breakaway that looked like it might just stay away, Team 7-up, Prime Alliance and Healthnet once again joined forces, along with Team Canada, to reel it back in. For 7-up, it was a long day of setting tempo and making sure that the break stayed just far enough up the road that it could be chased back toward the end.  After yesterday's crash, Flash Gord Frasher (Healthnet) redeemed himself with a fantastic sprint over Russian Vassili Davidenko (Navigators). Tomorrow, however, the only sprint will be one waged under 20km/h as it is the famed Mont Megantic stage.  Will 7-up's John Lieswyn have the horsepower to keep his jersey?
