June 15, 2004 – Today’s circuit race was expected to be tough, but that didn’t stop the outcome from being a bunch sprint, won handily by Colavita Bolla’s Ivan Dominguez. Canada’s Charles Dionne was second followed by Navigators’ Mark Walters. There is a lot at stake for the Canadians who have made the Olympic selection; apart from Michael Barry, who is a shoe-in because of his high UCI ranking, the battle is on to make an impression in Quebec.
