September 18, 2006 – Mark had a pretty good day at the GP d’ Isbergues, France (1.1). An early break that stayed away contained both Sergey Lagutin and Ciaran Power of the Navigators Insurance Cycling Team – though Power didn’t make it through the 202.5Km race, Lagutin finished 5th on the day. Mark held vigil at the front of the field and tryed his legs in the field sprint. Though he couldn’t compete with the likes of Hondo and Eeckhout, but finished a respectable 16th in the field sprint (27th overall). Another fast day in Europe.
