Glacier Bikes Expands Line – New Road, TT and MTB Designs

release by Glacier Bikes

December 6, 2009 (Peterborough, ON) – Glacier Bikes is proud to announce major evolutions in its line up for 2010. Beginning next March, Glacier Bikes will expand its line up by offering a redesigned road bike, a time trial bike and a hard-tail mountain bike. All will continue to be made from the super high modulus Mitsubishi TR50-15L carbon and will carry on the tradition of top of the line performance and comfort.

“With the phasing out of the Ice Storm series, our flag ship frame set, we saw 2010 as the ideal turning point to expand our offerings”, comments Peter Sejrup, President of Glacier Bikes.

The new road frame, called the Storm C, will feature a compact monocoque frame with carbon drop outs, a tapered head tube with carbon bearing seats, and a design concept called the “G” spot, exclusive to Glacier. The new Time Trial/Triathlon frame, called the Ice-T, will also be a monocoque carbon frame with tapered head tube, internal cable routing and 45deg drop-outs.
