Weening sat behind Malacarne until the final 250m and easily outfoxed the Italian for the victory as Pozzovivo took 3rd and moved up from 10th to 4th overall while Cadel Evans (Aus) BMC Racing Team was in the finishing pack in 7th and remains in pink – the riders enjoy their second rest day tomorrow.
