July 19, 2007 (Vancouver, BC) — In dry conditions compared to last night’s Gastown GP, Shelley Olds (USA) Proman/Paradigm and Kirk O’Bee (USA) Health Net p/b Maxxis won the women’s and men’s races at the Giro di Burnaby this evening, round three of BC Superweek. Olds won the final sprint over Malindills Maclean (Nzl) JAZZ Apple Cycling Team in second with Canada’s Gina Grain (Expresscopy.com) in 3rd.

A small group of 8-9 riders lead for the bulk of the men’s race, and following his Gastown win last night, Kirk O’Bee took the victory again tonight over Oleg Grishkin (Rus) Navigators Insurance who was second at Gastown, with Canada’s Andrew Pinfold (Symmetrics Cycling) in 3rd.
