September 29, 2006 – After two rounds of the popular Giant Bicycles Cross Cup, Giga-Bike/La-Z-Boy’s Rob Britton secures a 3 point lead over Andrew Kyle (Sugoi Factory Team) and BikeBarn’s Dan MacDonald. Andrew Pinfold (Symmetrics), 2005 Cross Cup Champion, finds himself 13 points arrear, after suffering a DNF at the last round of the Series.

Kelly Jones (Sugoi Factory Team), hot off a two-in-a-row win streak, takes command of the Series, with a 5 point lead over Wedgewood’s Sarah Stewart, and Barb Zimich (Coastal) a further 5 points back.

The action in the Men’s B Category is chalk-a-block, with over 50 racers appearing at the startline at each of the opening events. No stranger to racing, Nels Guloien (Sugoi Factory Team) heads up the Series lead, with Steve Murray and David Holden giving chase.
