November 27, 2009 – Quebec sports management company, Gestev Inc., is turning 20 after nearly two decades of hosting very successful high-profile sporting events such as the UCI MTB World Cups at Mont-Sainte-Anne (MSA) for many years, and the UCI MTB World Championships in Bromont back in 1992. In fact MSA is the longest running venue to host a UCI MTB World Cup each year since their first one in 2000, even beating out Euro MTB hot spots like Houffalize, Belgium.
Gestev founders, Chantal Lachance and Patrice Drouin started small and on a whim, building their company and becoming one of the most respected top level event organizers. Gestev also produces FIS Snowboard World Cups and the popular Red Bull Crashed series and is presenting the 2010 UCI MTB and Trials World Championships, as well as the 2013 FIS Snowboard World Championships. The new 4X course they’ve developed at MSA recently won a UCI World Cup award for Best 4X Event of 2009.
