Genevieve Jeanson Test Results

October 23, 2003 – The results of Genevieve Jeanson's urine sample, taken at the Hamilton 2003 Road Worlds and tested by the UCI in Switzerland, have been completed and an official CCA release will be issued tomorrow. Once the results are completed the athlete is informed first and then an official statement is released. Depending on the result Jeanson has various options. If the test result is negative then Jeanson must submit to a blood test to ensure that her Haematocrit is below the women's limit of 47. Only then will the CCA reinstate her licence. If the result is positive the athlete can request a test on the 'B' portion of the sample. Results from the 'B' test will determine any further actions.
