October 24, 2007 – Gears Bike Shop is continuing its support of racing for 2008. Given the history of support through a program known as Gears Racing and Team R.A.C.E. over the past 10+ years and the evolution of the program known as Team R.A.C.E. to an even higher level for 2008, the time is right for the next chapter.

Gears Racing is now accepting applications for the 2008 road racing season. We are looking to encourage and support a grass roots program by offering both financial and mentorship support. The program will consist of support for Cadet and Junior aged athletes. All interested athletes are encouraged to contact Michael Moore with a list of athletic accomplishments and goals and objectives for 2008 and beyond.
