Future Champs Camp Penticton – Day 2 Sprint Training

release by Cycling BC
July 05, 2013 (Penticton, BC) – Here’s an update from Day 2 of Cycling BC’s Future Champions Cycling Camp, which included some sprint training. The camp is being held in Penticton, July 3-8. Twenty-six young riders are taking part in the camp geared to teaching skills and learning on and off the bike. Participants are learning from the best coaches and athletes, including people like Ron Hayman, Evan Guthrie, Nigel Ellsay, Jeff Ain, and Granfondo A. Merckx.

Here are some comments from participants:

“I’m looking forward to some hard rides and getting more of a taste of cycling because I haven’t really gotten that much experience.”

“I started more recreational, but it’s turned out really well and I really love it and the people here are great.”

We have been overwhelmed by the support from all the people and sponsors that make this happen. Thank you once again.
