August 18, 2011 (Penticton, BC) – The Future Champions Development Camp continued in Penticton with a very positive Day 2. One of the day’s themes was goal setting and guest riders Evan Guthrie, Jesse Reams, and Owen Harrison shared some of their experiences and advice. In answer to the question: ‘Do you set your goals high, and then work hard to reach them?’ the wisdom imparted by the special guests included the following points:
- Don’t be scared to have high expectations for yourself.
- When you reach one goal enjoy it and then reach for the next one.
- Challenge yourself.
- Smaller victories along the way lead to greater ones
- It takes the same energy to dream big as it does to dream small.
