October 18, 2013 (Vancouver, BC) – On Thursday, October 17, Cycling BC hosted An Evening of Champions with Svein Tuft (Orica GreenEdge) winner of the TTT Stage at the 2013 Tour De France, to benefit Cycling BC’s Youth Development programs.
Over 150 people were were on hand at the Vancouver Club Ballroom with some of the biggest names in cycling in attendance including Steve Bauer, Alex Stieda, Alison Sydor, Axel Merckx, Tara Whitten, Ron Hayman, Zach Bell, Monique Sullivan along with Cycling BC Executive Director and Coach, Richard Wooles, plus many others to help create a better pathway for kids and riders coming into the sport. It was a unique occasion for such a stellar group of top riders and the business world to come together for such a worthy cause.
