French Judge Issues Arrest Warrant for Floyd Landis

February 15, 2010 (Paris, France) – A bizarre twist to the Floyd Landis saga French justice authorities issued an international arrest warrant for the American cyclist on Monday reports the Globe and Mail. This follows Landis allegedly hacking into the computer system at the AFLD (French anti-doping laboratory).

Landis finished first at the 2006 Tour de France, but failed a doping test for artificial testosterone. Landis, who was eventually convicted and stripped of his medal, always maintained his innocence and blamed the AFLD for faulty procedures in arriving at the positive result.
