December 07, 2012 – The co-Author of “Training and Racing with a Power Meter”, Hunter Allen, will be giving a free talk about training with power tonight at Dometique Cafe in Dundas, ON, starting at 8:15 p.m., followed by a signing of his newest book “Cutting Edge Cycling”.
Allen’s one-hour talk will touch upon training with a power meter and how it can help a cyclist improve, including some practical tips and case studies. He will also speak about some of the topics in his new book, “Cutting Edge Cycling” co-authored with Dr. Stephen Cheung. He will be available for questions and a book signing afterwards. In addition to co-authoring two books, Allen is Co-developer of TrainingPeaks WKO+ software, a former professional cyclist, a Level 1 coach for USA Cycling, an instructor for the USA Cycling Coaching Power Certification Course, a contributor to Road Magazine, a presenter at over 100 power seminars, a coach to elite athletes such as Ian Boswell of Team Sky, Jeremiah Bishop of the Cannondale MTB team, Daniel Lloyd of Garmin-Cervelo, Terra Castro of Luna Chiks Tri team, Tomas Gil-Winner of Vuelta of Venezuela, among others.
