Four Days Of Dunkirk

May 5, 2004 – Cofidis' Jimmy Casper showed his team is back, taking the first stage of Dunkirk. Casper beat AG2R's Jean Patrick Nazon and Gerolsteiner's Danilo Hondo in the gallop to the line. Check out the photos from Cor Vos.

Four Days Of Dunkirk

4 Jours de Dunkerque, France (2.11 May 9-12


The recent running of The Four Days of Dunkirk was notable for Canada for
two good reasons. Michael Barry riding for USPS, and Mark Walters with the
Navigators squad are having good results elswhere in Europe and both were
present at this top notch race.


Both had some fine showings: Walters
finished top 30 in the fast TT, only a minute and a half behind Tour De
France contender Christophe Moreau. And Barry finished in the lead break,
placing 9th on the toughest day, Stage 5.
