release by Cycles Régis

December 7, 2009 (Outremont, Québec) – After leaving the Québec elite road race squad following his many victories which include three Mardis de Lachine championships in 2003-2005-2006, Sébastien Moquin has chosen to get back in the race by acquiring Cycles Regis. As an owner and former racer always involved in the cycling community, he will devote his passion and experience to work at the store located at 1150 Avenue Van Horne Outremont in order to continue this wonderful adventure that was established in 2004.

Moquin, president and owner will team-up with Steve Larose responsible for customer service, Samir Aifie mechanic and Gérard Louis Robert, World Masters Track champion and positioning specialist. This new team will be backed by the founder owner, Mr. Régis Picoux for a period of six months, allowing him to transfer his know-how.

Subsequently, Régis will give his career and family a new direction by moving back to his native Belgium, where he will organize training camps for rookies and the elite cyclists. This new challenge will begin in the summer of 2010 and will aim to support cyclists in their preparation both on the road and on the track and at the same time, he will offer VO2 max tests and lactate.

Cycles Regis takes this opportunity to thank its loyal customers, partners and collaborators and wish long life and good luck to Moquin and his team.
