Forest City Velodrome’s Festival of Speed 2012 Launches Dec. 1

November 29, 2012 (London, ON) – Less than a week after one of the top 5 races ever at the Forest City Velodrome in London Ontario, the action track is again hosting another exciting evening of track racing on Saturday night.

The FCV Festival of Speed, will see the quickest sprinters doing battle on the boards of the FCV on Saturday December 1st at 7pm.  Many of Ontario’s top track athletes will be competing to see who has nerves of steel in the “cat & mouse” tactical battles that are sure to be exploited during the racing.  All 3 Categories will show off their sprinting abilities.

In addition to the sprint action, the endurance athletes will not be left out as race officials have included, Miss & Out’s, Scratch and of course the Madison.

Racing begins at 7pm, get there early as the warm-ups can be as exciting as the races.

Regular admission: Adults $10.00, Seniors $5.00, Kids are always “FREE”.  We will sell you the entire seat…. however, you will only use the edge.

Future Stars – Handicap Final
– “C”, “B”, “A” Group – Sprint Semi Final
– “C” Group – 40 Lap Scratch Race
– “B” Group – 50% Miss & Out to 10 Lap Scratch Race
– “A” Group – 50% Miss & Out to 10 Lap Scratch Race

Future Stars – 14 lap Scratch Race
– “C”, “B”, “A” Group – Sprint Final

Non Madison Riders – Last Rider Standing

Madison Final  (mixed teams) – 20 minutes plus 10 Laps
