February 27, 2005 – The Newmarket Eagles Cycling Club have issued a challenge to all cycling clubs in Ontario. The members of the Eagles wanted to support the London Velodrome project by making a tax deducible donation to the track, the club would then match the total of the donation.

Now it is your clubs turn to step up and support the Forest City Velodrome, the first new velodrome to be built in Ontario in over 25 years.

These are some of the benefits of the challenge:

1. Clubs portion of the donation $500.00 would allow the club to purchase a share in the Velodrome.
2. Members making a donation of $20.00 or more would receive a Tax Receipt. Individuals should fill out the donation forms from our website. 3. The club’s name would be added to the Wall of Fame.
4. Special arrangements would be made to allow club members to come and try out the velodrome. (No Cost)
5. The club would be the presenting sponsor at one of our Saturday Night Nas-track Madison races.
6. Access to the VIP Box on your clubs race night.
7. Website link from the FCV site to your site to help promote your club.
