December 10, 2006 (London, ON) — London got blanketed with a record snow fall of Friday and the results were a dramatic drop in attendance for both competitors and spectators at the Forest City Velodrome – the result – ‘Fun Night at FCVA’.

In contrast to the nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat competition of the previous week we had competition on the lighter side. New records were established in the ‘mini-bike flying lap’ and the ‘500 meter one legged race’. Velo-kids picked a ‘s enior’ partner and rode team flying 2 lap races and some newbies had a great experience being part of a madison event.

On top of all that spectators were treated to a complimentary ticket to any future race for having come out.

Next race – the last of the year – is next Saturday, Dec 9 at 7pm.
