Cadel Evans (Aus) Silence-Lotto was second, with recent Amstel Gold winner, Damiano Cunego (Ita) Lampre, in 3rd.

Canada’s Ryder Hesjedal (Slipstream Chipotle Presented By H30) placed 39th while Michael Barry (Can) Team High Road, who helped set the stage for his team mate Kirchen’s win, finished in 111th.
