July 4, 2009 (Fitchburg, MA) – Tina Pic (Colavita-Sutter Home) and Kirk Obee (Bissell Pro Cycling) won Friday’s Fitchburg State College Circuit Race, 120km. Evelyn Stevens (Lip Smackers) who placed third takes over the lead while Bissell’s Tom Zirbel continues to lead the men’s GC. Canada’s Joelle Numainville (Team Kenda) and Zach Bell (Kelly Benefit Strategies) each placed 6th in the women’s and men’s races respectively. Bell is second overall while Anne Samplonius (Lip Smacker) in 12th on Friday is 3rd overall.
