May 22, 2012 (London ON) – The Ontario Cycling Association and the Forest City Velodrome invite all Ontario track racers to attend the Provincial Championships August 3rd and 4th.

Categories include:
– U15
– U19
– Masters
– Elite (Men & Women)
* all racers Must have a UCI Race Licence (except U15)

Events:
– Kilo (500m)
– Pursuit
– Sprint
– Points Race
– Scratch Race

Entry Fee: $25.00 per event or $50.00 for all events (day of registration add $20.00).

Out of Province athletes are invited to participate. Only Ontario athletes can win Medals.

Pre-registeration available on the OCA site beginning June 1st.

Friday’s events:
– Kilo (500m) – 6:30pm
– Points Race-  6:30pm

Saturday’s events:
– Individual Pursuit – 9am
– Sprint – 11am
– Scratch Race – 3pm

Six Day Racing Returns to the FCV in October

Strap your helmets tight, word has leaked out the the FCV will be holding our first 6 day bike race in 3 years.
The race fans have been asking…. the Racers have been asking…. Now is the time to do a good old fashion bike race.

The racing will take place over 2 weekends (October 4-6) & (October 11-13)
The featured racing will be the “Elite” division with 6 or 7 teams.  Also racing all 6 nights will be the “B” division.  the youth racers will be racing on both Saturday nights…. more details to follow.
