May 18, 2017 (Barrie, ON) – Fast and Female is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2005 by Canmore, Alberta native Chandra Crawford, and is led in the United States by Nordic skier Kikkan Randall. Fast and Female aims to create a positive and empowering environment for girls in sport through their teen years.

Fast and Female hosts fun-filled, non-competitive events all over North-America. On Saturday, June 10 between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT, Fast and Female will host a Champ Chat at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, ON during the Canada Cup XCO event taking place on June 11.

The Champ Chat will include a physical activity circuit, yoga, autographs, and an inspirational chat with the Fast and Female Ambassadors. Canadian mountain bikers Haley Smith (Norco Factory Team), Soren Meeuwisse (MTB NextGen Team) and Erica Leonard (Centurion Next Wave Cycling Team) as well as rower Emily Jago will lead the event.
