November 14, 2012 (Burnaby, B.C.) – Jean Ann Berkenpas (Secret Cycles/Xprezo) won the Open Women’s competition, while Kevin Calhoun (Rocky Mountain) took top honours in the Cat 1/2 Men’s race at the BC Cup Cyclo-cross #3, the Escape Velocity Grand Prix of CX at Burnaby’s Foreshore Park on November 10. The 120 racers were treated to a sunny, but chilly, day in B.C. for their final tune-up before this weekend’s Canadian Cyclo-cross Championships to be held just a short drive away in South Surrey on November 17.
