February 28, 2010 (Langley, BC) – The beginning of March signals the beginning of the road racing calendar with Escape Velocity’s Spring Series. Come take part in some of the best and hardest-fought racing of the season! Sign-on will open at 9am at the staging area. Please make sure you have proof of race license on hand.

Learn to Race Clinic March 6
Many topics will be covered by local Cat 1 male and female cyclists including race preparation, tactics, nutrition, and much more. The clinic will also include an on-the-bike portion. Come learn about road racing in a no-pressure atmosphere. Spots are limited so please visit www.cyclingbc.net for full details and registration.

Youth Racing
For 2010 we are proud to introduce Youth racing for new riders 12-16 years-old. Races will be led by a coach, with the focus on introducing young riders to road racing. Participants should be able to ride an hour at 25km/h. For schedule and distances please go to www.escapevelocity.bc.ca/spring.

Racing Insurance
All participants must have either a UCI racing license, Citizen’s license (BC residents only), or a day-of license (Canadian residents only). All out-of-country riders MUST have a UCI license.
